Perhaps you're familiar with REN. Sadly, it's not available here in Bulgaria, but I snatched this little set when I was in London. And immediately fell in love :)
The set contains 3 sample-sized products. Clean skincare, without many foul ingredients and containing many (!) good ones. The first product is Evercalm Gentle Cleansing Milk - a truly nice creamy milk which doesn't dry out and maintains the skin's balance. It removes makeup but you have to be extra careful around the eyes because it sometimes fails to deal with mascara and liner. It smells very soothingly of roses - just like the Evercalm Global Protection Day Cream. Which, I might say, is wonderful! It has a light airy texture which sinks in immediately leaving a matte finish for quite some time. At first I thought it would be too light for the winter, but after more that ten days of testing my skin feels better than ever. It's calm (even the redness and the pimples have subsided), it's fresh and it looks healthier :) As for the last product - the Vita Mineral Active 7 Eye Gel - well, it's a bit uneventful for me. No results so far, it just acts as a refreshing and soothing treatment for tired eyes in the evening.
I'm really impressed with the day cream and I can compare it to Nuxe Creme Prodigieuse - only, without the dreaded silicones. So, someday I'll surely indulge in a full size!
As for the St. Ives Apricot Scrub, it's a cult product which perhaps you're familiar with. I used it in my teens and I liked it but now... Well, it's basically crushed walnut shells in a creamy base. And it's harsh, really harsh on the skin. I use it twice a week with very gentle massage because it can really hurt the epidermis. As for results - well, not more serious than with a regular face scrub, actually...
Have you tried these products? I'd be very happy if you share your thoughts!
